Important changes to new membership guide (1.10.2006)

USA Cover: 100% inside US network, 80% outside US network. You must pre-authorise any treatment in the US by contacting our US Service Partner, which operates a quality assured network of hospitals, clinics and medical practitioners (including surgeons, anaesthetists and physicians). If you have treatment outside this US network, we will only pay 80% of eligible treatment costs.

Why have we added this rule? The US network of over 3,000 quality assured hospitals, clinics and medical practitioners enables us to deliver both a first class service and the best value for money. This is important in a country where treatment costs are already high and rising at annual inflation rates of over 20%. Introducing this rule helps us to continue to invest in our US services while keeping the best subscription rates for our groups and members.

NB: If access to the right treatment within our network is unavailable for whatever reason, we will of course pay at 100%
